2. How To
• Take a Big bouncy ball that is comfortably bigger than your head.
• Get a stable item to hold the ball in place for a long amount of time (I used a bowling ball holder and tape)
• Mix flour and water into a paste, not too thick.
• Tear strips of newspaper and dip into the flour
• Wipe off the excess paste and put onto the ball.
• Paper Mache all the way to the bottom but not completely.
• Let dry in the sun and repeat with 4-6 layers
• Take the small bouncy ball and cut it in half
• Take the garbage disposal mouth and cut out the prongs in the middle of it.
• Spray paint the garbage disposal mouth with Krylon spray paint – silver
• Attach the half of the bouncy ball to the garbage disposal mouth, on the non-metal side. Glue it if needed.
• Take the garden hose and cut it into two long sections, paint these with Krylon spray paint – sparkling canyon (copper)
• Let dry and cut to the desired length that wraps around your helmet.
• Tape, or glue the ends together to make a circle out of the hose.
• Make another slightly larger circle with the other hose, glue or tape the ends together.
• Take the paper plates and cut out a nice sized hole in the center, do this to at least 4 plates.
• Glue the plates together for a strong rim.
• Paint with  Krylon spray paint – sparkling canyon (copper)
• Take the poster board and put the now cut out plate on it; mark a medium sized circle in the center, and another one in that. (For the inner porthole)
• Move the plate and mark 4 tabs extending from this inner circle, cut out.
• Paint this with the black paint.
• Put the black inner porthole in the plate.
• Punch holes where the tabs touch the plate and put the paper fasteners in them.
• Punch holes all the way around and put the paper fasteners in.
• Take another paper plate and trace around it onto the Red Transparent gift wrap. Cut this out. (I used 2 transparent circles for mine, it makes it more red but slightly reduces visibility)
• You can either glue this to the plate or punch holes corresponding to the paper fasteners and attach the red transparent gift wrap.
• This is your larges porthole that you look out of.
• Take the Christmas Candy containers (Lids) pick the three you want to use, and cut out the tops of the lids.
• Paint them with Krylon spray paint – sparkling canyon (copper) and let dry.
• Cut out pieces of the red transparent gift wrap for the lids.
• Glue into the lids and let dry. You can put as many layers of transparent gift wrap as desired.
• Now take the paper Mache’d ball and pop the balloon inside. (Have confidence in your Paper Mache! It’s stronger than you think!!)
• Make sure this fits comfortably over your head, if not cut out the bottom slightly till it’s comfortable.
• Trace around a paper plate onto the helmet and trace around your small portholes and the garbage disposal mouth.
• Take a box cutter and cut out the largest hole. (The porthole you look out of)
• Once cut out you can sand the edges. (You may cut out the other traced holes if you wish I did except for the garbage disposal circle.)
• For the look of metal panels take the Packaged Foam Sheets and cut out curved rectangles, glue them to the helmet where desired. (DON’T cover up the circles you just traced!!)
• Now paint the entire helmet with Krylon spray paint – silver and let dry. (If you didn’t cut out all the holes, you don’t have to paint over the circles you just traced, as they’ll be covered up)
• Now for a better effect take the sponge and but black paint on it, dab it all over, then do the same with the grey paint, then with the Krylon spray paint – sparkling canyon (copper) (By spraying it directly on the sponge and dabbing it onto the helmet)
• Cut Velcro strips and lay those on the hose press this to the base of the helmet, and that’s done.
• Take more Velcro and attach the garbage disposal where you want it. (Make sure to add the black sponged paint and such to this as well)
• Take some Velcro and one of the First Alert LED Puck lights and attach it inside the garbage disposal mouth, light it up and put the ball on. (Lights up the blue attachment to the head. =D)
• Take more Velcro and position the lights in all the smaller portholes to where they shine thorough it.
• Place two of the lights around the main porthole.
• Attach all the portholes with glue or Velcro.
• Turn your lights on and off.
• And you’re all done!

2. How To
- Chest Piece and Back Piece
• Take tape measure and measure your shoulders from shoulder to shoulder (12.5 in) and from collarbone to breast. (10.5in)
• Mark on the Poly-fil these measurements and round out the bottom half.
• Cut.
• Measure your back from shoulder to shoulder (12.5 in) and from base of neck to middle of upper back. (10.5in) (Most likely this will be the same measurement as the chest)
• Mark and Cut.
• Take out two foam sheets and cut out the same measurements for chest and back.
• Make the same measurements on another foam sheet and mark from the edge about 2 inches in all the way around, make 2 of theses. (Makes a border piece)
• Inside the chest piece “border” mark out two curved strips. (See pic)
• Cut.
• Take another foam sheet or scraps and mark 10 2inch circles with tabs on the sides. (like rivets)
• Make 2 circles 2inch no tabs.
• Make 12 smaller circles that fit in the 2inch ones. No tabs.
• Paint the 2 circles, 2 small circles, and both borders with the Krylon spray paint – sparkling canyon (copper). You may have to spray the spray paint into a cup and use a paint brush to apply. (Don’t forget the edges!!)
• Paint both Poly-fil pieces, Chest and Back foam pieces, 10 tabbed circles and 10 small circles with the Krylon spray paint – silver
• Let dry and glue chest and back foam pieces to the Poly-fil pieces, borders on top of those, curved strips on the chest piece, and small circles in the rivet pieces and to the borders, putting the two copper circles by the curved strips on the chest piece.
• Scratch up with fingernails or object for weathered effect and add more paint where needed for a water damaged look.
• Now take both chest and back plates and take the 7/16 inch extra large eyelets – prym creative and trace around them onto the corner edges of your plates. Cut out the holes, don’t make them too large!!
• Now follow the instructions on the back of the eyelet tools box and do so with the 7/16 inch extra large eyelet tools – prym creative.
• Now touch up the edges and the eyelets with Krylon spray paint – sparkling canyon (copper) and silver.
• With the off yellow paint, paint a big daddy on the back piece a little to the left.
• Let everything dry and you’re done, now onto the shoulder pieces.

– Shoulder Pieces
• Take your Elastic bands and measure how long you need them to be to run from the front pieces’ eyelet to the back pieces’ eyelet.
• Cut two strips and thread through the eyelets.
• Tie the elastic bands tight and Velcro the extra elastic to the back of the plates. (Just in case you have to adjust them later this makes it so you don’t have to cut a whole new piece of elastic band)
• Take the ¾ Thick Shoulder pads x2 (2 in pack) and 1/2 Thick Shoulder pads x2 and paint them with Krylon spray paint – silver
• Let dry and cut Velcro strips and attach them to the elastic bands. Or use liquid stitch.
• Velcro the two ¾ Thick Shoulder pads on the left and right elastic bands.
• Take both and 1/2 Thick Shoulder pads and attach them using Velcro or liquid stitch to the left shoulder pad. (You should have 3 pads on the left shoulder now and one on the right.)
• Take the packaged foam sheets and cut out 9 quarter sized circles, glue them together with 3 in each stack.
• You should have 3 stacks of foam circles. Pain these with Krylon spray paint – silver let dry and attach to the left shoulder pad. (These look like rivets.)
• Let everything dry and you’re done!

• Pop off the film canisters cap and nail the bottle cap into the film canister’s cap. Place back on the film canister.
• Wrap a few strings of the blue yarn around the dolls “neck” and back around the film canister.
• Clip one paper clip to the front of the body’s rubber bands.
• Thread the arms through the wooden beads, and tie it off.
• On the dolls right arm glue the thimble to the wooden bead.
• Take the silver pipe cleaner and twist it into a drill.
• Glue to the thimble.
• And you’re all done!!
